Beginning Photography: Art 1141. This is a traditional black and white film based course. Students develop their film and prints in the Black and White lab at Inver Hills. This course explores various genres of Photography in the Art world while viewing the work of many practitioners. This course allows students to develop technical skill while learning to express their creative vision. Advanced Photography: Art 1143. This is also a traditional Black and White film based course. However, students are encouraged to explore alternative methods of presentation. Students continue to engage in the creative process as they further expand their practice and understanding of this medium. Topics in Studio Studies: Digital Photography Online: Art 2281. In this Online course we continue with our emphasis on creative expression while exploring Digital Cameras, Photoshop software, and Image editing. Students create their own work, post it on individual web pages, participate in online critique discussions, and study the work of significant Photographers. Register for Photography courses |
