These tests have 10 problems of ea= ch type.  You must get 8 out of 1= 0 in each operation to pass.   You will be given only 2 minutes to

comp= lete each gateway!  If you do not pass, = then you must do a retake gateway just in the operation that you missed.  If you pass =

on the= first attempt, you will get full credit.  If you need a second attempt, there will be a 5% reduction in points, and a third

atte= mpt wil= l result in a 10% reduction of points.  The addition and subtraction gateway is worth 10 points toward your final =

grad= e, an= d the multiplication and division gateway is worth 10 points toward your final gr= ade.      =

 

Order of Operations Number Facts Gateway:

        &= nbsp;   This= test has five problems involving order-of-operations problems and one simplifying exponent expressions for meaning and

valu= e.  You will be given 20 minutes to co= mplete the test.  You will need to ge= t 70% to pass the gateway.  You will= be allowed three

atte= mpts wit= h the first attempt earning full credit, the second attempt will have a 5% point reduction and the third attempt will

have= a 1= 0% point reduction.  The order of opera= tions gateway will be worth 10 points toward your final grade.  I recommend that

y= ou = consult with me prior to taking a second or third attempt so that you can get help before your next attempt.  &nbs= p;            &= nbsp;      

 

Fractions Gateway:

        &= nbsp;   This= test will have ten fraction problems requiring you to add, subtract, multiply, divide and reduce fractions of all types (mixed,

impr= oper and= proper fractions).  You will need 70%= to pass and will be allowed three attempts.&n= bsp; There will be a 5% point

redu= ction on = the second attempt and a 10% point reduction on the third attempt.  I strongly recommend that you <= span class=3DGramE>come talk to me
