My Math Lab Student Registration Process<= /span>

If you w= ish to use the My Math Lab computer so= ftware with internet access that accompanies your textbook, you will need to follow the directions given below.

Setting up your IHCC Internet Account

&nb= sp;

In order= to use any computers in the IHCC computer labs on campus, you will need to have an IHCC internet account, called an IHCCNET account and an IHCC e-mail account, cal= led your METNET account.  To set t= his up go to the website:

Follow t= he instructions on the website.  Computer lab staff will assist you, if needed, in the open lab in the IHCC library.  Note the follow= ing for future reference:

After yo= u have set up your IHCC internet account, you can register in the My Math Lab software and then enroll for the instructor’s online course where you will be able to use the  math software.  For assistance with the registrati= on process, see your instructor or Math Center staff.<= /o:p>

My Math Lab Student Registration Process<= /h1>

 

The first time you use My Math Lab you will need to register yourself as a new user.

If you a= re registering on a campus computer or off-campus, follow the instructions below.<= o:p>

&nb= sp;

Register in the My Math Lab software:<= /b>

&nb= sp;

= 1.      Open Internet Explorer as your Inte= rnet Browser.

= 2.      Type the web address http://students.pearsoned.com into the line of the browser.

= 3.      Click the Register button for students and then Next to enter your access code.

= 4.      Lift the seal on your pin code and = type this six-word access code in the spaces provided using your mouse to click = into each box.  The pin code is fou= nd inside your My Math Lab Student manual. 

= 5.      Follow the instructions on the Acce= ss Code screen and on subsequent screens.&nbs= p; Enter the school’s zip code (55076) when requested, not your own.  After you create your Usern= ame and Password, write them down here and place this sheet  somewhere where you can find it:

= 6.      You will also need the Course ID to be able to access yo= ur online course.

 

= 7.      After entering all of your informat= ion you can log in right away or later.

 

 

To login to = your instructor’s online course

 

= 1.      To login you can go to any of the following websites:

http://www.mymathlab.com

http://www.coursecompass.com

        &= nbsp;          You = will need your login name and password.

= 2.      To access you’re My Math Lab course, click on the c= ourse name on the far

       left under Courses You Are Taking.

= 3.      Course materials will be located in= HW and Tests and be organized 

       according to the table of contents of your textbook.  You can also look under

       Study Plan, Gradebook, etc. for o= ther course related information.  <= o:p>

= 4.      If you are not working on a compute= r-lab computer, then you may need to  

      install appropriate plug-ins in order to view certain things.  You can click on    

      Installation Wizard.  Follow the directions to install t= he plug-ins.  Be

      prepared= to close and restart your browser afterward.
