Don Cassidy has over 20 years' business experience. He has worked for Fortune 500 corporations as well as small businesses and start-ups. His Fortune 500 experience includes serving as a Pricing Analyst for Sprint, and as a Senior Marketing Manager for Tyco. His experience has focused upon three areas: marketing, information systems, and educational efforts designed to improve marketing personnel productivity. In the fall of 2003 Don began his teaching career. He has subsequently created curriculum and taught the following courses:
Professional Sales (delivered in part through an e-learning format), Small Business Start-Up, Small Business Management, Electronic Commerce, Business Math, and Business Internship. He has also provided key input and initiative for the development of the Business Certificate Program at Inver Hills Community College.
Macromedia Flash, Microsoft FrontPage, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Don began his college studies at Inver Hills Community College and completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in mass communications from St. Cloud State University and an MBA from Drake University.
In addition to his teaching duties, Don is actively engaged in providing e-learning solutions through his consulting firm, Cassidy and Colleagues, LLC.
