Mr. Larson graduated from University of Wisconsin at River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Education.  He went on to receive his Masters of Arts Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Communications with an emphasis in Philosophy.  Mr. Larson began his career at Inver Hills Community College in 1971 as an Instructor of Speech and Philosophy.  He continued his education in Philosophy through Graduate courses at the University of Minnesota.  In 1985 Mr. Larson received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the William Mitchell College of Law.  He operated a private practice in Inver Grove Heights for 17 years.  Currently Mr. Larson is a Family Law Magistrate in the First Judicial District of Minnesota, while continuing his career in education at Inver Hills Community College.
