Julia McGregor has been an instructor of English at Inver    Hills Community College since 1987. She graduated in 1969 with a B.A. in English from Earlham College and in 1971 with a M.A. in English from Indiana University. Her interests in literature include Chaucer, Faulkner, and contemporary Latin American writers. 

 

She has three adult children and enjoys sailing, social dancing, and tennis. She is currently reading and recommending The Life of Pi by Yann Martel, Authentic Happiness by Martin Seligman, and West of Kabul, East of New York by Tamim Ansary.
