CRDV 1190/91 Field Experience: Provides a supervised practical community based learning experience in a wide variety of settings. Its purpose is to assist the student in analyzing the career possibilities of that work placement and to develop employment related skills. Students spend a minimum of 40 hours per credit on the job and attend a seminar or have bi-monthly individual meetings on campus with the instructor. The actual experience will be determined by goals set by the student with assistance from the college coordinator and agency supervisor. 3 or 6 credits may be taken during a semester. Student will work with the instructor in obtaining a suitable placement and developing specific goals to be achieved at that site prior to beginning his/her work experience.
