Course Materials
Appropriate Course Materials: Be sure to purchase the proper textbook package in the bookstore since each section has its own requirements. You want the bigger (and unfortunately more expensive) package that states it is for the online section (Math 1103-99). You will also need the course pack that is shrink-wrapped with the appropriate cover sheet. If you have questions, please ask the bookstore staff for help. Please note that I have an e-book option that my be a little less expensive mentioned in my Welcome Letter above.

MyStatLab
The bulk of the delivery for this course is using the publisher's website to view and complete some online homework and quizzes to help with reviewing and learning the material. You may complete any homework and quiz from home or the following computer labs at Inver Hills can be used for this course and website: Math Center (2nd floor library) and Main Lab (1st floor library). Computer Lab hours, links and details about services can be found at http://www.inverhills.edu/technology/CurrentStudents/ComputerLab.aspx. The Computer Lab telephone is 651-450-3653.
Please go to the D2L course website and under the 'Content' menu you will find a file called "MyStatLab Registration Info" to find instructions, course code, etc. for registering and accessing these videos, homework, and quizzes. D2L Login

Minitab Software
We will be using a statistical software package called Minitab during this term. Our campus has a site license so you will be able to utilize this program for free if you are on campus and log on to your student account. If you have other questions about the program, wish to download a free trail copy or rent/purchase Minitab for home use go to www.minitab.com and look under the Minitab for Education link.
