I am the  4th semester, Preceptor Coordinator on the IHCC Campus.

I teach :
1) Second year nursing clinical classes,
2) Pathophysiology - Classroom and online sections

I  have the  job of arranging for preceptorships for our graduating students. If you are an RN and would enjoy working 1:1 with a nursing student for 80 hours, please give me a call! It is a great opportunity for all who are involved. We send our students to a wide variety of settings. The goal is help each student transition to the RN role and see how the RN uses critical thinking in the job setting.
Interested? Just give me a call at 651 450 8603.

Nursing

The most profound creators I know of ~ are those artists whose medium is life itself~ the ones who express the inexpressible ~ without brush, hammer, clay or guitar. They neither paint nor sculpt! Their medium is 'being'. Whatever their presence touches has increased life. They see and don't have to draw. They are the artists of being alive. Every day nurses turn their work into an art form. They enrich people's lives. They tune into the needs and wants of many and quietly make things happen. Such is the art of nursing.
