Math 96-91 Fall 2009 This site provides course information about Math 96-91, Mondays 6-8:50 PM prior to the beginning of the semester. After the semester begins, all course documents will be posted in D2L. A syllabus, schedule, and homework assignment list will be handed out at the first class. Students should know that new content will be presented via lectures within the first 2 hours of class. The last hour will be reserved for intensive practice in small groups on homework examples and for a question/answer session. Math 96-91 is considered a "hybrid" section because we will use DVD lecture videos outside of the classroom to reduce the amount of in-class lecture time. Also software will be used extensively outside of class to practice exercises, to take online quizzes and to do chapter or test reviews. Therefore, it is advised that students have off-campus access to a computer and the Internet for their own convenience. However, students may use campus computers if they do not have access elsewhere. Campus computers are available Mon-Thurs 7:30 AM - 9 PM, Fridays 7:30 AM - 4 PM, and Saturdays 9 AM - 3 PM except for holidays and other days that the campus is closed.
