My MathLab – Fall 2009:

MyMathLab: Register your software following the instructions with your MyMathLab folder (or MyStatsLab folder). Use the correct course code shown below. To register and enroll in the software, go to www.coursecompass.com and click on “register”. If you have not used MyMathLab software previously, choose the first option (new course). If you used the software for a different course or section, use the second option. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the registration. Finding a unique username that the program will accept may take some time. Their product support suggests using your email address as the user name which is unique. Or use your metnet email user name which may work. Try to use something that you will easily remember so that you don’t have so many different user names and passwords.

First turn off pop-up blocker software and then log into MyMathLab (or MyStatLab) and run the browser check to download the plug-ins and players needed by the program. You do not need to install the test gen plug-in this semester. Read the announcements when you enter the software and do the introductory activities to get familiar with the program. Then enable the pop-up blocker software again when you log out of the software.
