  2. The lab test on Word will be given on Tuesday, 9/22. You will log into SAM 2007 to take this test. The test will be open from 12:00 noon to 1:40 pm on 9/22. You can take the test outside of the class during the test time. The classroom will be available to you.

  3. Take-Home assignment (Due 9/9):
    1. Log in to SAM2007 to download the instruction file and the start file. When you are done with the assignment, you will upload the file to SAM. You will receive your grade shortly after your submission. If you are not satisfied with the scores you can resubmit the assignment. You have five attempts for the assignment.
    2. Read chapter 1 from the DC 09 book.
    3. Log in to CoursePort and do the following:
      bullet Take chapter 1 practice test
      bullet Work on the Student Edition Labs: Using Input Devices
    4. Log in to D2L and take DC09 Chapter 1 quiz. The quiz contains 20 multiple-choice questions with the first 10 from chapter 1 and second 10 from Using Input Devices.
